. images are the new poetry,
some far more eloquent
than any words .

. they reveal the photographer to the
viewer, and the viewer to himself .

. some elucidate the outer,
the acknowledged self .

. some the inner, secret self .

. and others lay bare the spirit,
that self which for us both
is strange, and yet no stranger .
